What to expect

What are your services like?

When you visit Maranatha, you will know you are at church.  You will be greeted with a friendly welcome and guided to the service. Because God deserves our best, you will notice a spirit of excellence in every area of ministry.

Each  service is designed to exalt Christ and promote life change through dynamic preaching and teaching of the Word of God.

Services will end with an invitation to respond to the challenge you just received from God’s Word.  That such a holy God would speak to us demands that He receive a proper response from us.  The pastor and staff are always available to pray with you about any need in your life.

What are the people like?

At Maranatha, you will find people from all walks of life, ages, backgrounds, experiences, races and life’s challenges, who gather to hear from God.  If you are looking for perfect people you will be disappointed, but if you are looking for people who want to genuinely know God, you will be right at home.

What should I wear?

Most of our people will wear their “Sunday Best” as an expression of respect for our glorious God, but our desire is for people to truly know God…so come seek the Lord with us.   We are more concerned about you than what you are wearing.

What should I do with my kids?

For children three years old or younger, a well-staffed nursery is available for all services and located conveniently near the auditorium.  Children’s Church is offered for children four years old through third grade during Sunday morning worship.

What about Sunday School? At 10:00 we have age  appropriate classes for children through adults.  Our Greeters will assist in helping you find the appropriate class.
